I am filing this complaint because Pressler , Felt & Warshaw , LLP pursued a collection lawsuit against me without properly serving me, obtained a default judgment without my knowledge, and then initiated wage garnishment without providing any notice. I only became aware that a lawsuit even existed when my employer sent me garnishment paperwork to my home on XX/XX/year>, which included a judgment order for {$1100.00}. This was the very first time I saw anything related to this case. I was never served the summons or complaint, and the firm claims I was served at an address where I have never lived.
