I received some days ago a call from this number XXXX which belong to Wilber XXXX company and they said in that conversation that i was liable for a debt of {$6600.00} related with a car accident that took place in XXXX Tx last year on XX/XX/year> involving a XX/XX/XXXXsupposedly own by me, at that moment I thought it was a scam or something, because last time I was in XXXX Tx was XX/XX/XXXX years ago, and I never have owned a XXXX car. Yesterday I received a letter from that company with a file number and a claim number, something call my attention was that my name was wrong they wrote XXXX XXXX, instead of XXXX XXXX XXXX, and my address was wrong as well they wrote XXXX, instead of XXXX XXXX for the city. Well I called this morning to find out what is all this about, for my surprise they know my information my full name adress and last XXXX of my social, so I am thinking in a case of identity theft or this company is trying to scam me, I requested from them : Copy of the police report, photos of the damage, repair invoices or estimates or detailed explanation of why i am being liable, this person told me in the phone that she will provide me with that information by email, but instead of that she sent me the same Letter i received yesterday at my house, so my thinking or someone stole my identity or this company is a fraud, or is someone else pretending to be this company ( XXXX XXXX ). I am reporting this very concerned because this people has my information and are trying to.scam me, I can provide you with a copy of the letter that I received from them.
