Consumer Complaint Against CDS Financial I am submitting this complaint against CDS Financial regarding debt consolidation services that I paid for but were not performed. In or XX/XX/year>, I entered into a written agreement with CDS Financial for debt consolidation services. Under the agreement, I was required to make monthly payments of {$750.00} for 24 months so that CDS Financial would negotiate and/or pay my enrolled creditor accounts, including a loan with XXXX XXXX. I made XXXX monthly payments of {$750.00}, fully complying with the program. However, despite my payments, CDS Financial failed to negotiate or pay the enrolled debts as promised. As a direct result of CDS Financials failure : Multiple enrolled accounts were sent to court, XXXX XXXX has confirmed that no payments were made on my behalf, and XXXX XXXX has now retained legal counsel to pursue collection against me for approximately {$41000.00}. I have made repeated attempts to contact CDS Financial by phone to obtain explanations and resolution, but CDS Financial no longer responds to my calls. Because of CDS Financials actions and inaction, I am now facing potential legal action, significant financial harm, and emotional distress. I believe CDS Financial engaged in unfair, deceptive, and misleading practices, including misrepresentation of services and failure to perform contracted obligations. I am requesting the CFPBs assistance to : Investigate CDS Financials practices, Require CDS Financial to provide a full accounting of all funds I paid and how they were used, and Seek appropriate relief, including reimbursement for services not rendered. I am submitting this complaint in good faith and reserve all legal rights. Thank you for your assistance.
