XXXX cfpb complaint where they lied and refused to arbitrate my Dad is in fact a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and I am his son direct dependent and we are not allowed to pledge car up for any title loans at all but Could Have informed us of this or declined the application or further use Several non-valid statements and actions have been put out as true and valid and are not neither is the debts connected to this account ( complaint filed by XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ). TitleMax of Nevada , Inc., DBA TitleMax, a member of the CCF Intermediate Holdings LLC family of brands, appreciates the role of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau in resolving consumer concerns. We are happy to provide this response. To summarize, the Complainant claims they are a dependent of a veteran and are prohibited from the type of loan they obtained due to the Military Lending Act ( MLA ). In addition, they claim they were not provided with paperwork for their loan and that they did not fill out the second application themselves. Further, they claim alleged predatory lending practices. They are requesting the loan be dissolved and the title returned. A review of TitleMax records revealed that on XX/XX/XXXX, the Complainant obtained a loan in the amount of {$850.00} at a storefront in XXXX XXXX, NV. The Complainant and vehicle co-owner granted security interest in a XXXX XXXX XXXX my original complaint was facts and valid complaints closed prematurely
