I sold my home at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. Closing was on XX/XX/year>. The Escrow Company ( XXXX XXXX ) had been instructed to pay off the outstanding loans including the XXXX lien mortgage, a PACE loan, a HELOC and an HVAC loan with SERVICE FINANCE COMPANY. Approximately, XXXX days after the sale of my home, I was contacted by SERVICE FINANCE COMPANY for payment. " I explained that my home was sold, and they should have received the payoff for the loan for the HVAC ( furnace ). They told me they had not received any payment. In the meantime, I was contacted all the parties involved with the sale of my home ( Realtor, XXXX XXXX, and Attorney ) to resolve the matter. I always paid my monthly payments to the SERVICE FINANCE COMPANY. During this short window of time, the SERVICE FINANCE COMPANY chose to report me to the credit agencies : " as not more than XXXX payments passed due ( XXXX ) with XXXX This negatively impacted my credit score by XXXX points. This is based on XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX reporting data. '' SERVICE FINANCE COMPANY has harmed me with this negative and inaccurate accounting. This situation is not my fault, and they should have the decency to understand and work with me. Instead, they have chosen to bring adverse credit reporting against me.
