On XX/XX/year> I noticed in my the wells fargo banking application that my savings account was closed. I recently opened the account in XXXX of 2025. I contacted Wells Fargo on 2 occasions and spoke with XXXX and XXXX who both confirmed that wells fargo can close an account due to inactivity after 30 days. I have a checking account linked which I have used multiple times ( same card ) .There is no indication in the terms that I must have money available in both accounts. There was never any fraud nor notice of the account closing. This is affecting my credit and I still have money in the wells fargo checking account linked to savings account. They never gave me an option to put the account in good standing by adding money. I also pay a monthly fee. Both of the representatives advised that they can close an account after 30 days due to no inactivity and does not provide notice of this to the customer. Closing an account that is linked to another account that is being used with no fraud and no alert to the customer is illegal. I spoke with XXXX who is a supervisor on XX/XX/XXXX of 2025 and I spoke with XXXX on XX/XX/year> who denied my request to speak with a supervisor or manager. To this date I have never received a paper statement from the savings account which is linked to the checking and I applied for back in XX/XX/year>. If the accounts are indeed separate, then where are my savings account statements from XXXX and XXXX of XXXX? Also I received a promotion bonus of {$120.00} from Wells Fargo due to the amount of deposits made to the account within the first 30 days.
