Harris and Harris, a debt collection agency recently dinged my credit with an account Ive battled for a decade. I dont believe a debt XXXX XXXX XXXX is eligible to be placed on my credit report as though it is a new account. They are trying to collect {$110.00} from a XXXX Phone bill for a company I worked for. In XXXX I worked for a startup and was asked to set up a phone line. I called XXXX and had. them install a phone line. I gave them my name but I did not say I was responsible for the bill, I was just the person who called. The company went out of business soon after that and I began getting this account on my credit report. I fought it and never won, was never told why I was deemed responsible for the bill. Now they are coming after me again after 10 years and its destroying my credit to have a new delinquency.
