My mortgage company pays my home owners insurance payments late. My homeowners insurance payment was due to XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. Today, XX/XX/XXXX, my homeowners insurance company ( XXXX ) has not received the payment from my mortgage company ( Wells Fargo ). I contacted Wells Fargo on XX/XX/XXXX and was told by a representative of the company that a wire payment was attempted and then rejected on XX/XX/XXXX, and a paper check was issued and sent via postal mail on XX/XX/XXXX. The check was sent via normal XXXX postal mail and was not even overnighted. I was told by the representative of Wells Fargo that XXXX should receive the payment by XX/XX/XXXX. It is pertinent that my home owners insurance payments are made on time. Otherwise, I risk having a lapse in my coverage and being dropped from my current insurance company. In order to avoid this from happening, I paid my home owners insurance myself today. This is unacceptable, these funds have already been paid by me and set aside in my escrow account. This is a financial burden for my family. I spoke with my homeowners insurance company and they stated that they do not accept wire transfers and that the bill that was sent to Wells Fargo lists they types and ways of payment. Every year Wells Fargo is delinquent! In XXXX I received a a notice of expiration due to nonpayment of premium from my homeowners insurance company because Wells Fargo failed to pay on time. So, I had NO homeowners insurance coverage at that time. The notice was sent to me from my homeowners insurance company on XX/XX/XXXX, I received in in the mail a few days later and contacted Wells Fargo on XX/XX/XXXX and they overnighted a check to my homeowners insurance company. This caused me to not have coverage on my home for over a week ( payment was due and coverage expired on XX/XX/XXXX ).
