Chime has stated they will not be refunding my money when their policy states after an account is closed all funds will be refunded to the account holder within 14 days of closure. When I reached out they requested my information such as driver license photos from and back, social security card photos, proof of transactions, proof of residence, and bank statements from my connected bank. They asked for an explanation for why I transferred {$140.00} on XX/XX/XXXX from my external bank into my chime account. When explaining it was to pay my car insurance, plus what was already in there for rent the following week, they proceeded to close all my accounts and said I am not eligible for any refunds and will not be getting my money at all. I have opened many tickets to try resolving this and I still have not received any follow ups after over XXXX years.
