I purchased a home, and my loan closed at the end of XXXX. The loan agent involved in this transaction was XXXX XXXX. While XXXX XXXX initially appeared cooperative and professional, I later determined that material information was concealed or misrepresented during the loan and closing process, resulting in significant adverse financial consequences. Prior to closing, when I requested the escrow documentation for review, XXXX XXXX sent me an image via text message that clearly reflected these XXXX amounts as separately itemized costs. However, the documentation XXXX XXXX provided to the escrow office materially differed from what she presented to me. Instead of disclosing the house purchase price and the solar system purchase price separately, she combined the XXXX amounts and represented the total of {$740000.00} as the house purchase price alone. I then contacted XXXX XXXX clerks office to inquire about the discrepancy. XXXX XXXX clerk XXXX advised me that their office relies solely on the recorded closing documents and instructed me to contact the party who provided the closing documentation to the escrow office in order to correct the error. Prior to my engagement of her services as my loan agent, XXXX XXXX communications were professional, responsive, and cooperative. However, once the transaction closed and issues arose concerning the accuracy of the closing documents, her demeanor and responsiveness changed materially. When I contacted XXXX XXXX to address the error arising from the misstated purchase price in the closing documents, she refused to provide any assistance. Despite multiple attempts to communicate via text message and a subsequent phone call, she declined to engage in resolving the issue. During the phone conversation, her conduct was unprofessional and dismissive. She rudely terminated the call while I was still attempting to discuss the matter. I am submitting this statement to document the misrepresentation of material information in the closing documents, the resulting financial impact, and the subsequent refusal to assist in correcting an error that originated from the loan documentation she prepared. In addition to the purchase price misrepresentation described above, XXXX XXXX also provided misleading or inaccurate information on multiple other aspects of my loan application and processing.
