I was scammed by an individual on XXXX XXXX offering me airline credit for exchange of {$450.00}. I trusted XXXX XXXX XXXX and made sure the transaction was through Metapay and XXXX which offers protection. When the individual didnt send the airline credit I immediately contacted Metapay XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX report the fraud. Little I know that in cases if the seller marks it as " friends and family '' ( which I had no visibility ) I no longer have purchase protection. Therefore I am reporting this issue with the hope that the above financial institutions will not charge back my card for the fraud. Thank you.
