IC System is attempting to collect an alleged XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX debt that is not mine. I have never had cable/satellite service with XXXX or XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and I did not authorize anyone to open an account in my name. I previously contacted XXXX XXXX XXXX by phone to report this error, but it was not resolved. Now the debt has been placed with a new collection agency ( IC System ), and the collection attempt has been renewed. I am requesting that IC System provide full validation showing that I authorized the service ( signed contract or equivalent proof ). If no such proof exists, I request that IC System permanently close/delete its file, cease all collection activity, and ensure the account is not transferred to any other collection agency. I also request written confirmation of the resolution.
