am submitting this complaint regarding the WebBank/Avant credit card currently reporting on my XXXX Experian, and XXXX credit reports. This account is being reported as open with a balance exceeding the stated credit limit, and the information has been verified through the automated OSCAR system despite my disputes. No documentation has been provided showing a valid permissible purpose for continued reporting as required under 15 U.S.C. 1681b. Verification through automated OSCAR responses does not satisfy FCRA requirements when accuracy, authorization, and ownership are disputed. Additionally, reporting a balance higher than the credit limit without proper explanation is inconsistent with Metro 2 reporting standards, resulting in misleading and inaccurate credit data. Further, I have submitted an Identity Theft Report and fraud statement, and a theft/fraud block is currently placed on my credit file pursuant to 15 U.S.C. 1681c-2. Continued reporting of this account without validating documentation violates my rights under the FCRA, as the account is disputed as fraudulent and unauthorized.
