I am filing a complaint regarding Openbank by Santander ( Santander XXXX XXXX ) for failure to provide account access, failure to close my account despite repeated requests, and failure to disburse my remaining funds. I have been attempting to resolve this issue since XXXX. Openbank has locked me out of my account because their system requires SMS text message verification, and I am unable to receive their text messages. I have informed Openbank of this issue numerous times. Despite repeated phone calls since XXXX, Openbank has failed to provide any alternative authentication method or meaningful assistance. Since XXXX, I have made many phone calls requesting that my account be closed. On multiple occasions, I was told the account would be closed. When I later called back to confirm, I was informed that the account closure had been canceled, and representatives stated they did not know why. Because Openbanks authentication system prevents me from accessing my account, I have been unable to withdraw or transfer my remaining funds since XXXX. Despite repeated requests, Openbank has failed to provide a method to send me my remaining balance. I am being sent in repeated circles with no resolution and do not have access to my own funds. I have attached the phone log containing all of the phone calls and many hours I have spent on the phone with this bank attempting to get this issue resolved. This has caused immense distress and financial strain.
