XXXX XX/XX/year> XXXX XXXX Midland Credit called my phone on a caller ID which did not show a company name and there was no way I could identify the authenticity of this person although they were asking for verification of personal info. Although it was not before XXXX XXXX, and I am not sure of repeated calls because I don't answer numbers I do not know, this is still worthy of a complaint. The call was inappropriate as it is XXXX XXXX and many people in particular XXXX are celebrating. We were considering attending church with my XXXX parents, but did not because I was not feeling well. If we would have, this phone call could have potentially been during seating for a church service, for many members in the XXXX. Aside from this, even if XXXX was not involved it is still considered a XXXX. I asked why they were calling on the night before XXXX and he said " So why is this day so important '' it's a time of family gathering and many people are also more prone to XXXX this time including myself as loved ones have passed on. Also, I could not understand this person clearly. I would not acknowledge I was the person they were looking for, would not acknowledge a debt and told them I considered what they were doing harassment as Holidays should be considered off limits. It's common sense. They are preying on people thinking they will get money from the holidays to pay them, when most people can barely make it right now and are likely broke from getting kids stuff. I still am unsure I owe what they say I owe and find their practices shady, harassment, inconsiderate, upsetting, anxiety inducing and ruined my XXXX XXXX. The man on the phone, his aggressive demeanor, and lack of awareness was beyond rude. He even asked for personally identifying info and demanded I confirm info without any real way for me to tell if he was oer say a scammer. I still do not acknowledge this debt as mine, and think rules need implemented to stop them from these abusive practices.He also scared my young son, as he could hear the convo and the man. As for this instance, even if I did owe a debt, which I do not acknowledge, it should be removed for the complete lack of common sense and decency, aggressive demeanor of the agent, lack of cultural or religious respect, aggressive tactics, and possibly even an XXXX violation due to XXXX rights and the anguish he caused myself and my children on this special night.
