I was never contacted by Southwest Credit prior to this reporting and did not receive any initial written notice required under FDCPA 1692g. After this account appeared, I contacted XXXX directly. A XXXX executive advised me that XXXX does not collect Social Security numbers when opening accounts and stated that this could be a case of mistaken identity. Because the account can not be tied to my Social Security number, Southwest Credit does not have a permissible basis to report this debt as mine. I dispute this account in its entirety and request that Southwest Credit provide written validation, including proof of notice, authority to collect, and documentation showing that I am responsible for this account. I am requesting immediate removal of this collection from all credit bureaus.
