I have been receiving unsolicited phone calls nearly every day on my work phone number from a company identifying itself as XXXX XXXX XXXX. They leave a voicemail that is an automated message. I called it because I wanted them to stop contacting that number because it is my work phone. When I confronted agent at the phone number with this information, they hung up on me. On a few occasions, I was able to reach representatives who did not immediately disconnect, and I clearly requested that my phone number be removed from their call list. I explained that this is my work phone number, not a personal line, and that I did not consent to these calls. Instead of stopping, the company agressively increased its contact attempts by sending me daily prerecorded messages. On Thursday, XX/XX/XXXX, I called again to request removal from their list. I was hung up on twice before briefly reaching a representative who listened to my request, and said I would be removed from their list. Despite this, I continue to receive the daily prerecorded. On XX/XX/XXXX at approximately XXXX XXXX, I called again and was hung up on twice. I then attempted to return calls to the phone number provided in the prerecorded message. My calls now immediately receive a busy signal, suggesting my number has been blocked from contacting them. Even after being block, I received another pre-recorded message. I continue to receive unsolicited calls and prerecorded messages to my work phone number. Because this phone number is used for professional purposes, these repeated calls interfere with legitimate work communications. I explicitly requested that the company stop calling me, and they failed to honor that request. This conduct constitutes harassment and appears to violate FTC rules regarding unsolicited robocalls, prerecorded messages, failure to honor stop-call requests, and the use of misleading or inconsistent business identities.
