I purchased a XXXX XXXX XXXX from Volvo Cars XXXX XXXX and, shortly thereafter ( about XXXX months later ) I called the dealership ; a couple of months after that, completed a contact form on the VCFS website XXXX then in XXXX, XXXX, and XX/XX/XXXX, I submitted written requests to cancel a voluntary extended warranty that was financed as part of my retail installment contract. Volvo Car Financial Services ( VCFS ) has confirmed in writing that the selling dealership is responsible for processing the cancellation of the extended warranty and notifying VCFS of the adjustment so that the appropriate refund can be applied to my loan balance. Despite multiple calls and written requests, including a formal 10-day final notice, Volvo Cars XXXX XXXX has failed to respond or take any action to process the cancellation. This lack of response has directly prevented the refund and corresponding loan adjustment from being completed. The extended warranty, which cost approximately {$5000.00} ( {$4900.00} for a 7-year term ), remains active and financed against my wishes, even though I made a timely and documented request to cancel it.
