Consumer Narrative
I have had my XXXX XXXX Secured Credit Account for XXXX days. In this time I have tried repeatedly to close the account so it will stop reporting negatively on my credit score. They say I have an outstanding balance of {$220.00} or so but I have paid this before. Every month I get a negative mark because of a late or missed payment, but through their portal my account is closed and there's nothing to be done. I have lost so much money and so many points on my score as a result of their dishonest, misleading advertising -- and I absolutely never got the " payout '' they promise on their financial products.
