I am filing a complaint against Experian for failing to conduct a proper reinvestigation and for failing to explain the method they used to verify an account from XXXX XXXX XXXX ( Account Ending : XXXX ). I disputed this account multiple times because it contains inaccurate and unverifiable information. Experian responded that the account remains and meets FCRA requirements, but did not provide : What documentation XXXX provided The procedure Experian used to verify the account Who verified the information What records were reviewed How accuracy was determined Under FCRA 611 ( a ) ( 6 ) ( B ) ( iii ) and 611 ( a ) ( 7 ), I have the right to request a Method of Verification, and Experian is required to provide a detailed description of how they verified the account. They have failed to provide this. Under FCRA XXXX ( b ), Experian must ensure maximum possible accuracy of the information reported. This account contains incorrect dates, inconsistent reporting, and incomplete verification across all three credit bureaus. Under FCRA 611 ( a ) ( 5 ), any information that can not be fully verified must be deleted. XXXX has not provided complete documentation, original records, or validation supporting the accuracy of this account. I simply want Experian to comply with the FCRA, provide the legally required Method of Verification, and remove the XXXX XXXX XXXX account if it can not be fully verified with original documentation. I request that the CFPB require Experian and XXXX XXXX XXXX to : Provide the full Method of Verification Provide copies of all documents used to verify the account Delete the account if they can not validate it with original, complete records Thank you for your assistance.
