I am filing a complaint against Toyota Financial Services/Toyota Motor Credit Corporation for an unauthorized withdrawal of {$720.00} from my bank account after my auto loan was already paid off and closed. Toyotas own automated system states : Your account closed and paid off on XX/XX/year>. Despite this, Toyota Financial withdrew {$720.00} from my account on XX/XX/year>, without authorization. I never approved any additional payments after my vehicle was paid off by XXXX XXXX XXXX. When I contacted Toyota Financial Services, I was given contradictory and misleading information. A representative XXXX XXXXXX/XX/XXXX insisted the account was still active and refused to let me speak with a supervisor. He denied escalation multiple times, even though this involved an unauthorized withdrawal. I have been given the runaround for days and have experienced significant stress and emotional distress as a result, as well as financial hardship due to the unexpected withdrawal. Toyota Financial is also short {$230.00} from the original payoff check sent by XXXX XXXX XXXX, and I have not been provided any explanation for that discrepancy.
