I am disputing the alleged deficiency balance letter I received from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XX/XX/XXXX associated with my repossessed XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. Under O.C.G.A. 11-9-616, a secured creditor must provide a complete and accurate post disposition explanation, including : The date, method, and details of the sale, sale price of the vehicle, itemized fees & credits of any alleged deficiency and a statement of the debtor 's rights. The letter I received from XXXX is not compliant and very vague. Because the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX did not provide the mandatory disclosures, any alleged deficiency balance is legally unvalidated and potentially invalid under Georgia law. As of XX/XX/XXXX XXXX has now transferred this to a collection agency, Northstar Location Services. The letter, I received from this company, is requesting payments and also included a pay schedule for an agreement to make payments for the alleged balance without any other information attached to the requests. Please investigate and correct the reporting by : Removing any deficiency balance, charge-off, or negative notation related to the unvalidated amount. Reflect only accurate verified information.
