I visited TD Bank to open an account for my daughter 's XXXX back pay, and everything went smoothly on XX/XX/2025. Then, I found out that they closed the account immediately and accused me of fraud, and they were being nasty to me via the calls on XX/XX/2025. I filed a complaint against them with the XXXX, and nothing was resolved. They kept sending me letters, and then the new letter came today, XX/XX/2025, so I called them and said they never closed it, and said they didn't send me anything in the mail or email. They caused me stress, emotional distress, and accused me. I never did the fraud. I had to do what XXXX asked me to. They tried to keep the account open, but I said no because I don't want to open an account with a bank that accuses and is being nasty to me. They sent their supervisor a message but the call disconnected due to an issue. I want them to stop sending me and messing with my emotions. I would like to know if I can file a lawsuit against them for their mistake, emotional distress, and fraud.
