Complaint Regarding SYNOVUS/FIRST PROGRESS/V Dear XXXX XXXX, I am writing to file a formal complaint against SYNOVUS/FIRST PROGRESS/V for violations of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ) and the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ). The debt collector has reported inaccurate information to the credit bureaus, failed to provide validation of the debt, and has used abusive and deceptive collection tactics. The Collection Agency has not provided validation information under 12 CFR 1006.34 ( b ) ( 5 ) but yet they have placed a collection on my consumer report. I have not been given a chance to dispute account according to 12 CFR 1006.34 ( c ) ( 4 ) ( i ) Collection agency is violating my consumer rights by using false misleadin, misrepresentation and deceptive means. The Collection agency has no authority to furnish any account to a consumer reporting agencies without providing any and all disclosures required by law and they are in clear violation of 12 CFR 1006.34 ( d ) and 15 USC 1681-S 2 ( 7 ) ( A )
