b'I received an alert from XXXX XXXXom Service Finance Co ( acct # XXXX) for a home improvement loan taken out in XXXX XXXX XXXXor @ XXXX. According to Service Finance Co. I stopped paying on the loan in XXXX XXXX with a balance of XXXX.\nI filed a dispute with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX as I have no account with Service Finance Company, nor had I taken out a home improvement loan with them ever. XXXX sent me back a dispute resolution report saying that the Service Finance Company said the info they had was, in fact, accurate. I called XXXX back explaining this was not the case and to issue a fraud alert and reinvestigate the claim. They said to call the company itself and initially refused to give the their contact number, but finally did.\nI called Service Finance Company and explained the situation. He looked up my (account) under my name, address and phone number and said he could find no account. I was not surprised as I have never done business with them. He asked for my SS# which I was unwilling to provide at this point. He said he could not give me any info as according to his records I was not a customer. I asked him to then get in touch with XXXX to clear the account from my credit. He said he could not do that and how could I have a XXXX XXXXebt with them if I did not have an account? I said yes, exactly my point, could you please clear my credit account then? He said he could not and I needed to get back in touch with XXXX. I did. They said to get back in touch with the company and file a fraud report and complaint with you.\nThe phone number forService Financial Company is XXXX XXXX XXXX and is located in XXXX XXXX, FL XXXX. Attached is the only written info I have received from XXXX.'
