I am filing a complaint regarding an account that XXXX sent to MRS BPO ( collection agency ). I paid the full balance directly to MRS BPO every month using my credit card. All payments were completed, and the account shows a {$0.00} balance in the MRS portal. However, XXXX is still reporting the debt as unpaid and is claiming they did not receive the payment. Timeline of what happened : XXXX : XXXX placed my account into collections with MRS BPO. Each month : I made monthly payments to MRS BPO using my credit card. Final payment : The account reached a {$0.00} balance, confirmed by the MRS virtual assistant and payment portal. XXXX 2024 : I contacted MRS multiple times asking for a Paid-in-Full letter, but they said I must request it through the portal and it would take 7 business days. MRS also said they can not email me the letter. XXXX : XXXX continues to show the debt as unpaid and still has my phone SIM-locked, even though the debt was paid in full.
