I owe about {$160000.00} dollars to Sallie Mae and an additional {$45000.00} to XXXX. These XXXX sums are not including my federal student loans, which is over {$110000.00}. My biggest issue is with Sallie Mae, as they are currently charging me on the XXXX and XXXX of every month. Each time they do so, they are asking me for about {$1300.00} and {$1600.00}, respectively. That is absolutely disgusting. I have called and spoken to countless people, I've done my research, and Sallie Mae offers absolutely no relief for anyone in my position. They are physically putting me in an impossible position because they don't have any income repayment options or anything. I have no choice but to pay some of them late because I physically DO NOT make enough money to have for both those payments alone. Both dates are within XXXX pay period for me, and I only just started my career and I'm only making about $ XXXX. I already spoke to the Massachusetts Attorney General 's Office and they directed me here for help. But I am so unbelievably desperate that I genuinely struggle to put it into the appropriate words. I have a co-signor on all my loans, including my Sallie Mae loans, and I can't even give them the chance to be relieved as a co-signor. In order to do so, I need at least 12 months of on-time payments, but as discussed previously, THEY ARE MAKING IT IMPOSSIBLE FOR ME TO DO SO.
