Tried to verify a debt with XXXX XXXX with the XXXX, XXXX XXXX. I was trying to understand why I had a balance with XXXX when I sold my house and closed my account over XXXX months ago and that the final bill was not sent to my current address. XXXX XXXX tried to compare the debt I XXXX know I owed to buying groceries and that I should just pay it and get it out of the way He continued to talk over me when I tried to understand this collection paper that I owed that XXXX sent to my house. I felt very overwhelmed with XXXX and pressured into paying this debt ( which I ended paying since he threatened to put me down as not willing to pay and XXXX not want it to go into my credit report. All I was simply trying to do is understand situation and verify it was my actual debt.
