XX/XX/XXXX I was informed the Income-Driven Repayment ( IDR ) request was still under review under open ticket # XXXX. I was told the transfer of XXXX XXXX loans was in progress under open ticket # XXXX, and a consolidation summary would arrive in a couple weeks. XX/XX/XXXX Multiple representatives provided conflicting or incomplete information. My consolidation was canceled without proper explanation. Employee ID : ( employee ID not provided ) gave no clarity Representative XXXX ( XXXX ) helped unlock my account XXXX ( XXXX ) and XXXX XXXX XXXX ) both stated the consolidation was canceled due to a missing reference, and that it must be resubmitted I was told I would receive a letter explaining repayment options and that I would have only 10 days to cancel or change. This was never properly sent or communicated. XX/XX/XXXX Representative XXXX XXXX XXXX ) informed me that negative credit reporting could not be removed, even though the errors were caused by the servicer. I was told to complete a credit dispute form. Tradeline accounts : XXXX through XXXX Consolidation Confusion & Misleading Guidance On XX/XX/XXXX, I was told by FedLoan that the consolidation ended in XX/XX/XXXX, that my XXXX loans were paid off, and that FedLoan now had XXXX loans totaling {$67000.00}. I was never given clear guidance how the consolidation was canceled, restarted, or completed. Multiple representatives gave conflicting information. Private Loan Issues Private loans were transferred without proper notice, and representatives repeatedly stated private loans do not defer, while others claimed they could. Multiple agencies : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX This created confusion, delinquency, and negative reporting. PSLF & Payment Count Errors On XX/XX/XXXX, I was informed I had only 3 qualifying payments, despite years of employment in public service and prior repayment efforts. I was told that XXXX payments needed new employment certification, even though documentation had been previously submitted. Transfer to XXXX On XX/XX/XXXX, loans were transferred again I was told to remain in forbearance. WHY I AM FILING THIS COMPLAINT Due to the actions of FedLoan XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, I was : Misled during consolidation Given contradictory information by multiple representatives Placed into unnecessary forbearances Prevented from making qualifying PSLF payments Harmed by negative credit reporting Forced to deal with repeated loan transfers and lost records I am requesting : 1. A full investigation 2. Correction of my payment history, including PSLF counts 3. Removal of any negative reporting caused by servicer error 4.
