On XX/XX/year>, I submitted a complaint with the CFPB, Complaint # XXXX. Midland Credit Management responded to this complaint on XX/XX/year>. In their response they acknowledged they would respect the Cease & Desist Order I requested unless the law required otherwise. No legal action has been undertaken. Midland Credit Management is in violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ) by willfully ignoring the Cease & Desist Order. They have called me 13 times or more and I have had conversations with them telling them they are in violation. However, the have no compunction for the law and continue to disregard it.
