Consumer Narrative

I switched over to the assurance wireless program tmobile has with XXXX on XX/XX/year>. I spoke with XXXX rep XXXX XXXX who helped me get my phone switched over from XXXX to assurance wireless. I had specifically asked the question when I switch over, is there anything else that I have to do to close out my account and will I be billed for it? XXXX told me Nope, that is all you have to do, once you activate your assurance wireless account, your XXXX account will be closed and you dont have to do anything else nothing to pay a month later, I kept getting calls telling me I owe XXXX money and it was getting sent to collections company ( XXXX XXXX XXXX which I didnt understand due to XXXX assuring me I wouldnt be billed for that month. So I called up XXXX again and spoke with XXXX who spoke with his management at XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX XXXX told me that he will put in for that balance to be removed and that it WILL be removed due to XXXX employee XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX telling me I wouldnt owe anything once I switched over. For 3 months I didnt get any calls or texts so I thought it was all fixed. XX/XX/year>. I received a letter in the mail which it wasnt sent until the XXXX yet wasnt received until the XXXX and I have proof ) I was informed by a family member which you guys sent to an address that wasnt even my current address that I got a letter threatening if I did not pay the amount owed ( {$95.00} ) within 10 days, then it was going to collections and going to affect my credit score. Letter has that it was sent the XXXX yet I have proof that it wasnt sent until a week later the XXXX to an address that I dont even live at anymore. Now I am getting constant calls and texts from a new collections agency XXXX multiple times a day or every other day. They did this all while I was in my XXXX trimester of XXXX which caused EXTREME stress and also made my credit score decrease significantly.
