I received an email purporting to be fro. Speedy Cash on behalf of several different cash advance services. They stated that I had 24 hours to reply before I would be sued. They stated if I didn't pay about half of it now, then they would be suing for ten times the debt. They stated that they would be investigating my social connections as well. They claim to be investigating me for bank fraud and several other crimes. But they will stop if I pay them the majority of the owed balance immediately? This seems like either illegal intimidation or an outright scam.
