I received a phone call from a a third party collection agency wanting me to prove who I am. I told them that I dont know anything about this debt and that I am not willing to provide any information about myself or verify any info until they send me a debt validation letter and that that I no longer want them to call me until they can send me a copy of this with my name on it, a signature with my name on the contract, proof of their ownership of the debt, and the history of the debt and payments. Instead of sending me something they told me they cant do that and keep calling me instead when Ive told them twice I want to communicate only through certified mail. They are in violation of the fdcpa and keep contacting me with different private numbers atleast once a day.
