I requested a balance transfer from Capitol One on two accounts for {$750.00} each on XXXX which was transferred to no interest account but amount of {$750.00} was put back on the existing accounts as a purchase. Added to the current balances. Which at the time of requesting the transfers was approximately {$1400.00} which I paid down from {$2000.00} on both accounts and are now an estimated {$2100.00} with interest accruing daily. I called Capitol One on XXXX, spoke to person identifying as an account specialist/manager states it in in disclosure and is the procedure. Advised her I have no knowledge of this and being advised by the customer service rep at the time of service had very poor XXXX and I did not understand or comprehend her. Only saying repeatedly its procedure. Again, it was a transfer not a purchase and makes no sense. Why would I want to add to my current debt of {$3000.00}. She stated it would be a good training tool for the representatives ; this is not my responsibility to provide scenarios for the paid representatives of Capitol One, I am a XXXX XXXX and unable to afford to pay these new balances which is why I requested the transfer I am being double billed it is being treated as a purchase not a transfer. She went on to state they do many many transfers daily, once again it makes no sense.
