I recently got a text message from chime saying that someone tried to use my card at XXXX XXXX for {$410.00}. Did you authorize this y for yes no for no. I replied XXXX. Another text came in saying someone would be calling me shortly. They called.told me they were going to be closing my chime account immediately, so if I wanted access to my money, I needed to transfer it to myself. Btw, it was pay day and I was sitting in the XXXX parking lot getting ready to buy some groceries, so I was rushed and distracted. The other party gave me an email address with my name and an id number, that was supposedly my claim number. I was supposed to transfer everything I had to that email, including what I had in my pay for chime. So I transferred EVERYTHING. Basically my entire paycheck and everything I had in savings ( savings didnt have a whole lot, but still. ). As soon as the money was transferred and they received it, they hung up on me, so I waited a minute or so, hoping XXXX call me back, and then I called chime myself. I asked them if that was them XXXX been talking to, or if XXXX been scammed .. XXXX been scammed. So I reported it, filed a claim with chime, and was told, no errors occurred, so they XXXX do anything about it and my claim was closed. This happened on Friday XX/XX/year>, and the original text message came in at XXXX pm. They scammed {$1100.00} from me. And left me with absolutely nothing in my account!!! ( XXXX ) XXXX is the number they called and texted me from.
