On XX/XX/XXXX, I purchased a XXXX XXXX XXXX from a used car dealer in XXXX, Florida and financed the vehicle through this lender. The vehicle was publicly advertised by the dealer for {$12000.00}, as proven by an archived third-party copy of the dealers website dated XX/XX/XXXX. However, my retail installment contract reflects a cash vehicle price of {$17000.00} an undisclosed and unjustified increase of {$4600.00} over the advertised price. After applying my {$3500.00} down payment and applicable sales tax, I should have financed approximately {$10000.00}. Instead, I was financed for {$16000.00}. This means my loan principal was inflated by approximately {$5700.00} due solely to the dealers price misrepresentation. As a result, I have already overpaid approximately {$4900.00} in monthly payments tied only to the inflated portion of the loan, and I continue to be charged interest on money I should never have owed. On XX/XX/XXXX, I submitted a written formal dispute to the lender with documentation proving the advertised price and the inflated contract price.
