I purchased my home on XX/XX/XXXX, using loan depot through XXXX XXXX XXXX, who has since left the company. In XXXX or XXXX of XXXX Loan Depot sold my mortgage to XXXX XXXX, which is now XXXX XXXX XXXX. About a month ago I started receiving calls from Loan Depot claiming I have a mortgage through them and that I owe them {$7500.00}, which I do not. I told the agent send me proof of the money owed and for what and explained they sold my mortgage XXXX years ago and for whatever it was sold for the debt was paid during the sell. The agent refused and kept saying I owed them and it was for refinancing. I never refinanced my home. Especially not through them. They still have my mortgage on file as if I am still a client when I am not and have not been in XXXX years. Loan Depot was a scam of a loan company when I purchased my home and they still are trying to scam me now. They refuse to show proof of where this number has come from and due to the statue of limitations approaching on them to collect possible funds they are trying to increase the amount and claim I owe them, when I owe them not a single time.
