Consumer Narrative

On XX/XX/year> I spoke with XXXX from XXXX XXXX. XXXX promised to get me $ XXXX in credit card approvals. XXXX falsely represented that if I gave him a {$2000.00} deposit which I did provide from my AMEX Credit Card that he would get me $ XXXX in credit card approvals. I gave XXXX the {$2000.00} deposit as he requested in good faith. XXXX falsely represented that the {$2000.00} deposit would be for the first {$2000.00} in credit card limits ( which XXXX assured me would be well over {$20000.00} in credit card limits. ) At which time XXXX stated that if he didn't get me the {$20000.00} in credit card limits that he would refund my {$2000.00} deposit. So after I paid the {$2000.00} deposit .Jacob stated that he would have someone to call me in a couple of days to start the " onboarding '' process in other words after he received my {$2000.00} deposit and it was confirmed He ( XXXX XXXX would get me set up in the credit card program/scam.Once the call ended I did some research on XXXX and the XXXX XXXX and found out that there were multiple negative reviews and multiple complaints with the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX I decided that I didn't want to proceed or receive any services from XXXX or the XXXX XXXX or do any business with any business that had such negative and bad reputation and who had scammed hundreds or evens thousands of people out of their money. So I reached out to XXXX and informed him that I changed my mind about wanting to be enrolled/ '' onboarded '' in the credit card program. At which point I never received any services from XXXX or Anyone from the XXXX XXXX even up to today. So I reached out to XXXX on XX/XX/XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXX/XX/year> explaining to him that I changed my mind about enrolling in his credit card program and that I would like for him to return my {$2000.00} deposit since no services were provided and I hadn't enrolled in the program and he agreed in writing and verbally that if no credit card funding was received by me from XXXX XXXX ( which none was received ) then he ( XXXX ) a representative for XXXX XXXX would issue me a refund in other word return my {$2000.00} Deposit. Which the Deposit was for services that I never received at anytime from XXXX or XXXX XXXX. But once I told him I didn't want to enroll/onboard with such an unethical company after investigating and determining that XXXX and XXXX XXXX were a scam. XXXX refused to return my {$2000.00} deposit as promised and agreed.Lastly, XXXX stated that the only way he would return my {$2000.00} deposit was that if i could get someone else to pay him {$2000.00} for my " seat '' in his unethical credit card program/scam.
