Hello Coinbase XXXX XXXX, I am requesting an immediate escalation regarding a post-cancel execution error on my XXXX limit sell order. I opened a case a week ago and have not heard back. I have attached a copy of my cancellation confirmation order that was emailed to me. Coinbase confirmed the cancel at XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/year>, yet the platform executed the sell hours earlier at XXXX on XX/XX/year>. According to the email the cancellation was for the full amount of XXXX XXXX coin. This is an illegal post-cancel execution under XXXX trading rules because 1. Coinbase sent me a final cancellation email for the full amount of XXXX XXXX 2. The execution timestamp is before the cancellation timestamp 3. Therefore, the order should never have been executed at all 4. This is a clear system error or forced execution incorrectly applied Under SEC/FINRA-aligned order handling principles and Coinbases own published trade error policies, it is not permissible to execute an order after a cancellation has been confirmed, nor to show an execution timestamp that predates the confirmed cancellation.
