This is my follow-up complaint regarding Credit Acceptance. Their response did not resolve the issues I raised, and they failed to provide the documentation required to validate the account or address the billing dispute. I requested full documentation showing the accuracy, ownership, and legality of this account. Credit Acceptance did not supply the following required information : 1. A complete payment history and accounting ledger showing how every payment was applied to principal, interest, and fees. 2. A full interest calculation breakdown, including how interest is computed, the total interest charged to date, and any changes to the interest rate or balance. 3. Documentation identifying all entities with an ownership or financial interest in the account, including any assignments, transfers, securitization, or third-party servicing involvement. 4. Proof that Credit Acceptance funded or loaned actual money to originate this contract, including evidence of consideration, disbursement of funds to the dealership, or proof of purchase of the retail installment agreement. 5. Billing dispute investigation records, including findings, audit results, and documents showing how they investigated my dispute as required by federal consumer law. 6. A complete copy of the original retail installment agreement, including every page, signature, and disclosure. 7. Verification of all information they are furnishing to the credit bureaus as required under the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ). They did not provide any verification supporting the accuracy of their reporting. Their response was generic and did not provide any of the requested documents, nor did it resolve my billing dispute. Without this information, I can not confirm whether the loan balance, interest calculations, servicing, reporting, or ownership of the account is accurate or lawful. I am requesting that the CFPB require Credit Acceptance to provide : A full accounting ledger for the life of the loan A detailed interest computation and balance explanation Funding/consideration documentation All billing dispute investigation records Complete copies of the contract and related documents Identification of all entities with an interest in the account Verification of all information they are reporting to credit bureaus This account remains in dispute, unverified, and unresolved until Credit Acceptance provides proper documentation.
