My car was broken into in XXXX filed a police report and froze the cards. When I reported it to TD Bank the same day they deactivated the card. The card account was no longer available online or in the app. XXXX XXXX weeks later I received a replacement card. I attempted to activate it. Was unable to activate the card. Went to the branch a second time and was not helped. I repeatedly reached out to TD to rectify the situation. Repeatedly wait times were an hour plus and I requested calls back which never came.on Saturday XX/XX/XXXX after 3 hrs on hold and over a month of trying to rectify the situation I spoke to XXXX at customer service who finally was able to reinstall my access and informed me he was able to but it would take 24 hrs. He said he would notate the case to prevent any undue issues to my credit due to the financial responsibility I have. Today while preparing to acquire financing to move my mother I was alerted that td bank had applied a 30 days passed due to the account which has dropped my credit score to the point I can no longer qualify for the loan to keep my mother in her house. I make over $ XXXX a year and my accounts are paid early monthly. Every other account of mine is in perfect standing and there was thousands of dollars in an associated account. Thru no fault of my own I was victimized by a criminal and than by my bank. I have over 9 years with out a late payment to anyone and now because of lack of training and a technology issue on their part im affected unfairly which has serious financial repercussions to myself but also my mother 's living situation safety and health. I will be closing the accounts but there needs to be accountability and they need to restore my pristine credit ive worked my life to build
