I am disputing unauthorized duplicate hotel charges from extended stay XXXX, and my bank mishandled my dispute after initially refunding me. XX/XX/XXXX : When I arrived at the hotel to check in, the front desk told me I needed to pay {$35.00} for weekly WiFi. I agreed to pay {$35.00} only. Instead of charging {$35.00}, the hotel charged my card a second {$680.00}, which is the exact same amount as the prepaid booking. This is duplicate billing for the same reservation. I did not authorize another room charge. The room was already fully paid for on XX/XX/XXXX. Why this is unauthorized : The only amount I agreed to on XX/XX/XXXX was the {$35.00} WiFi fee. The additional {$680.00} charge was never approved, never disclosed, and is a duplicate of my original payment.
