On XX/XX/year>, I went to the bank to get a cashier 's check from my account where funds were fully available. I walked into the bank before XXXX and after filling out all the information needed for the cashier 's check, I waiting for over an hour and the bank rep said she needs approval given the large amount ( over $ XXXX dollars ) and will do her best to get me information prior to bank closure at XXXX. I left the bank after XXXX and No one contacted me and I had to make alternate arrangements for the closing on a property for which this check was needed. I am extremely disappointed that the bank did not value me as a customer ( I have been with this and its predecessor banks for over XXXX decades ) and failed me by not issuing a cashier 's check ( when the funds were available in my account ). I lost faith in this bank and will have to close my account soon. It is unfortunate that they didn't even care to meet a basic need.
