The debt being reported is not mine. In XX/XX/year>, I ordered a phone online and created a new XXXX account. When the device arrived, a XXXX representative who appeared to be in training failed to activate it correctly and instead created a second, unauthorized account in my name. My phone was activated on the second account, and the original account was left open, unused, and unbilled. I never used or authorized the original account after the representative abandoned it. XXXX did not close the unused account, did not notify me of any issue, and eventually sent it to collections without my knowledge. This debt exists solely because of XXXX internal mistake. I contacted XXXX many times by phone and in stores. I was transferred, hung up on, and told conflicting information. XXXX XXXX employee even began a process to fix this error but stopped communicating. XXXX has already removed this account from my credit report after reviewing my evidence. I am requesting : Full validation of the alleged debt Copies of any signed agreements for the original account Investigation into Verizons account creation error Removal of this collection from all credit bureaus Immediate stop of all collection activity This debt does not belong to me and is the direct result of Verizons employee error.
