I am getting extremely tired of submitting complaints but this is the only way to get Truist to do anything. I deposited a check on XX/XX/year>XXXX ( well over 60 days ago ) and that check is still being held for " potential claims '' when Truist knows full well that the check is not going to be " claimed '' back by XXXX XXXX XXXX. On XXXX of this week XXXX XXXX submitted the notarized form that Truist requested. We took it to the bank. We have not heard one word from Truist on when we can go to the branch and pick up OUR money. I called and was told " the check is being held for potential claim back ''. How is this legal? Why is nobody investigating Truist and their practices? There are THOUSANDS of people that Truist does this same kind of thing to and that's not OK.
