What Happened I am filing a complaint regarding harassing and excessive collection calls from TD Auto Finance on XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/year>, despite being only a few days past my due date and not even close to 30 days delinquent. TD Auto Finance called me repeatedly, often 12 minutes apart, and did not leave voicemails, which created XXXX, workplace disruption, and XXXX. What I Did to Resolve This On XX/XX/year> at XXXX XXXX, I called TD Auto Finance and told them : to stop the repeated calls, that I am only a few days past due ( not 30 days ), that I would make the payment before the 30-day mark, that I attempted to get assistance through their online system, but received no response. Despite this, the excessive calls continued. 3. How This Affected Me The call behavior caused : XXXX and XXXX Constant disruption while I was at work Mental XXXX waiting for repeated calls Confusion due to no voicemails being left This is harassment and an abuse of communication practices. 4. What I Want the CFPB to Help Resolve I am requesting the following : 1. TD Auto Finance must stop the excessive and back-to-back calls. 2. They must limit communication to written contact only unless I approve otherwise. 3. They must confirm my account will not be negatively reported as long as the payment is made within 30 days. 4. They must correct and investigate their call practices on my account. 5. I am requesting compensation for the XXXX, XXXX, and workplace disruption caused by the repeated calls. 6.
