I paid down the remainder on my XXXX XXXX 'Comenity Bank XXXX credit card. The balance was XXXX dollars. After the fact, they factitiously charged me a late fee of {$45.00}. They did not contact me about the late fee, but waited over a month to contact me looking for payment, hoping to get interest on the scam charge. The final amount I paid was {$80.00}, which was above all cumulative costs. I also directed them to close the account immediately ... which has not been done yet. In effect, it is my belief that they have stolen {$80.00} from me, and I do not trust them to close the account. I would appreciate immediate redress.
