Someone opened a XXXX XXXX XXXX account XX/XX/XXXXXXXX with my personal information ( ssn #, name and dob ) . However, the address used for the card was XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX, AR. I have never lived in Arkansas. Also, the email address given was not an email address that belongs to me. Payments were being made to the account my someone until XX/XX/XXXX. Once payments were stopped, they started calling me on the debt. I filed a fraud claim with them in XXXX, but the claim was denied XX/XX/XXXX. I was told a letter was mailed to me regarding the denial, but I do not have a record of it ( maybe it got mailed to the AR address ). After lengthy conversations stating that the name on the account is not my legal name, and I have not lived at the address listed the collection service is not willing to do anything to help me rectify the issue.
