i've been trying to do a modification since 2020 covid and had my tenant pass away which made a financial strain on me. i explained to wells fargo and yes they have given me forbearance during covid and but when i went to pay they denied my payments i asked for modification and wells fargo has gave me the run around since i've given them the same information on my income lots of times for 5 years to get a modification and they have not fix my situation now i had to pay a lawyer XXXX of dollars just so they can give me modification that's really doesn't work for me at this point when this could have been done the modification years ago. i understand ive missed payments and i can start paying my mortgage but they are not working with me on the modification i have got there offer but considering what they have put me through all these years and wells fargo not handling my modification or any program appropriately im stuck in this offer.
