Complaint against First Resolution Investment for invalid garnishment. To whom it may concern, I am filing a formal complaint First resolution for initiating a 25 % garnishment against my wages without proper notice, without serving me with any legal documents, and for attempting to collect on what I believe to be an extremely old, possibly expired or discharged debt over 20 years old. The garnishment appeared through my employer, XXXX XXXX. I received no prior communication, no court order documents and no lawsuit or judgment. The alleged debt appears to originate from around 2000, more than 20 years. I believe i filed bankruptcy after 2000, which should have discharged the debt if it existed. This debt does not appear on my credit reports. They have not contacted me or validated the debt in any way. This is a federal violation and if the debt expired under Ga law they improperly revived it. I am asking CFB to investigate First resolution for improper garnishment activities. Proof of debt, judgment, proper service, legal right to enforce a 20 year old claim, stop all collection until they comply. Thank you for your assistance. XXXX XXXX
